Teaching and Faculty:

She strongly believes in passing along the knowledge she has gained in over 40+ years as an actress, “Those who can, Do.  Those who can do more, Teach. -GB Shaw (with a twist)”

NYU, BADA (London and Oxford), Acting International (Paris-NYC), Broadway for All, Circle Repertory, etc. and now coaches exclusively at her own Queens Studio. Through Jodie’s years in the UK with BADA and the Theatre Royal Haymarket, Dame Judi Dench agreed to be the Patroness of the Queens Studio, inspiring us all.

Misc.:

She is an ordained officiant writing and performing live and virtual ceremonies celebrating life’s milestones.  2021 City Artist Corps of NY Grant Recipient, she devised The Uses of Adversity: Of Players, Plagues, and Poetry– exploring the parallel plague years of 1616 and 2020. She continues Zoom coaching, writing, and facilitating a weekly Peer Community Group for the Actors Center (of which she is a proud member). Married to Arthur William Pearson for almost 4 decades, residing in Sunnyside, Queens NY with Maggie their rescued beagle.
